SIMPLE TO CARRY, RELIABLE TO USE

Elan understands how skiing on your preferred personal ski equipment can enhance the overall experience, especially when skiing in new destinations. But, we also understand the difficulty of transporting your equipment. While modes of transportation have improved and become more frequent to popular skiing destinations like the East Coast, West Coast, Canada or Europe, it can still be not only expensive but cumbersome to travel with your skis. To make the transportation of skis easier and faster, Elan has developed the first fully foldable touring ski, the Ibex Tactix. Due to decades of customer and product feedback, Elan was able to identify all customer needs to intelligently develop an efficient folding ski with uncompromised skiing performance. To achieve this design feat, Elan took the Ibex skis, cut them in half and connected them with a revolutionary folding mechanism that is built on a fixed aluminum plate that rotates 180 degrees and dissembles a 163cm length ski to a 90cm length ski in less than 20 seconds for easy transport. Furthermore, the performance of the plate makes the skis easier and more reliable to ski.
